In my twenties, I spent a lot of time in groups, at conferences, and in churches—simply because I was so hungry for more of Him.
The ways I experienced the work of the Holy Spirit—how He touched people emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually—left a deep impression on me.
During my travels, I also witnessed various practical miracles, including financial provision at just the right moment. These experiences greatly strengthened my faith.

I'm thankful to God for placing me in a loving family while growing up. Even though we faced our share of challenges, we always loved each other and encouraged one another in faith and love—and prayed for each other.
It’s very special to me that we’ve always been able to share that, especially the culture of faith and the presence of God’s Spirit that I’ve described with such joy above.
